อันที่จริงภาพทั้ง 2 นี้ ถ่ายไว้เมื่อช่วยฤดูใบไม้ร่วงของปีที่แล้ว ลาเต้ชอบที่นี่และบรรยากาศช่วงนั้นมาก มันดูจะชอบสีของใบไม้น้ำตาล ๆ เพราะคงคิดว่าเหมือนสีขนของตัวเองก็เป็นได้

สถานที่ตรงนี้ คือ จัตุรัสกุสตาฟ มาห์เลอร์ (Gustav Mahker Platz) สวนสาธารณะขนาดเล็กที่มีเสน่ห์แห่งนี้สร้างขึ้นในปี 1919 ในชื่อ “Platz R” โดย Richard Köhler นักออกแบบสวนที่ประสบความสำเร็จ บ่อน้ำในสวนสาธารณะยังใช้เป็นที่กักเก็บน้ำฝน ในปี 1968 ได้มีการเปลี่ยนชื่อตามนักแต่งเพลงและวาทยากรชาวออสเตรียคนสำคัญ กุสตาฟ มาห์เลอร์ เนื่องจากจัตุรัสดูเหมือนสวนสาธารณะขนาดเล็กมากกว่า จึงไม่มีฟังก์ชั่นตัวแทนเนื่องจากตำแหน่งที่มีการกระจายอำนาจในระบบถนน Dahlem แต่ยังคงใช้เพื่อการพักผ่อนหย่อนใจระยะสั้นเป็นหลักในปัจจุบัน (Google translate from German)

Der kleine Park mit viel Charme wurde 1919 als “Platz R” von dem erfolgreichen Gartengestalter Richard Köhler geschaffen. Der Teich im Park wurde von Köhler gleichzeitig als Regenwasser-Rückhaltebecken genutzt. Im Jahr 1968 folgte dann die klangvolle Umbenennung nach dem bedeutenden österreichischen Komponisten und Dirigenten Gustav Mahler. Da der Platz eher wie ein kleiner Park wirkt, hatte er aufgrund seiner dezentralen Lage im Dahlemer Straßensystem keine Repräsentationsfunktion, sondern dient, auch heute noch, hauptsächlich der Kurzzeiterholung. เช้าวันนี้ เมื่อฉันเปิดหน้าต่างห้องออกไป สิ่งแรกที่พบคือภาพทิวทัศน์สีขาวที่ปกคลุมทุกสิ่งในสายตา หิมะบางเบาที่ตกลงมาในสองวันที่ผ่านมา กลับเพิ่มปริมาณจนกลายเป็นผืนหนาของสีขาวโพลนปกคลุมทั่วพื้นดิน เสียงอันเงียบสงบของเช้าวันที่อุณหภูมิแตะ -2 องศาเซลเซียส ช่วยเสริมให้ทิวทัศน์ของกรุงเบอร์ลินในวันนี้ดูเหมือนหลุดออกมาจากโปสต์การ์ดฤดูหนาว

โชคดีที่เมื่อวานนี้ ฉันได้จัดการยืมหนังสือที่ห้องสมุดมาล่วงหน้าแล้ว จึงไม่ต้องออกจากบ้านในเช้าวันที่เย็นยะเยือกนี้ ความคิดที่จะต้องเดินฝ่าลมหนาวและก้าวข้ามหิมะหนาไปยังห้องสมุดในวันนี้ทำให้ฉันอดรู้สึกขอบคุณตัวเองไม่ได้ที่วางแผนล่วงหน้า ความสะดวกสบายในห้องที่อุ่นสบายและมีหนังสือในมือ ดูเหมือนจะเป็นของขวัญเล็ก ๆ ที่ช่วยเติมเต็มความสุขในวันฤดูหนาว

แม้จะเย็นจัด แต่เช้านี้ก็เต็มไปด้วยความงดงาม หิมะที่ทับถมกันบนหลังคาบ้านเรือน และเกล็ดน้ำแข็งที่จับตัวอยู่ตามขอบหน้าต่าง ดูราวกับเป็นงานศิลปะจากธรรมชาติที่แต่งแต้มให้กับเมืองหลวงของเยอรมนี ฉันหยิบกล้องถ่ายรูปออกมาและบันทึกภาพทิวทัศน์สีขาวบริสุทธิ์ไว้เป็นความทรงจำ เสียงหิมะยุบลงเบา ๆ ใต้เท้าเมื่อก้าวออกไปนอกประตู เสียงลมหนาวที่พัดผ่านใบหน้า เป็นเสียงที่สะท้อนถึงฤดูหนาวในเบอร์ลินอย่างแท้จริง

ภาพนี้ไม่เพียงแต่สะท้อนถึงอากาศหนาว แต่ยังสะท้อนถึงความเงียบสงบของเมืองในเช้าวันธรรมดา แม้ว่าจะไม่ใช่ครั้งแรกที่ได้สัมผัสหิมะในฤดูหนาว แต่ความงดงามและความสงบที่แฝงอยู่ในหิมะสีขาวยังคงสร้างความประทับใจในใจทุกครั้ง ฤดูหนาวในกรุงเบอร์ลินอาจหนาวเหน็บสำหรับบางคน แต่ก็เป็นช่วงเวลาที่ธรรมชาติแสดงพลังสร้างสรรค์ออกมาอย่างเต็มที่ ให้เราได้หยุดพักและซึมซับความงดงามของโลกที่แตกต่างออกไปจากฤดูกาลอื่น ๆ

This morning, when I opened my window, the first thing I saw was a breathtaking view of white snow covering everything in sight. The light snowfall from two days ago had grown into a thick white blanket covering the ground. The quiet sound of this morning, with the temperature at -2°C, enhanced the serene beauty of Berlin, making it look like a scene from a winter postcard.

This was the first significant snowfall of the year in Berlin. Two days earlier, snow had only lightly dusted the rooftops and trees, but today it transformed the city into a world of cold and mesmerizing whiteness. The streets, sidewalks, and rooftops were wrapped in soft layers of snow, while the treetops lining the paths appeared as if sprinkled with glittering frost.

Last night was Loy Krathong, a festival well-known among Thais. However, the freezing weather in Berlin, accompanied by falling snow, created a stark contrast to the familiar image of floating lanterns along rivers in Thailand. The water in German canals must be icy cold now, perhaps even partially frozen. The snow that fell overnight blanketed every surface, painting the city in the quiet stillness of winter.

Fortunately, I had already borrowed books from the library yesterday, saving me from having to brave the cold and wade through the snow this morning. The thought of walking through frosty winds and deep snow to get to the library today made me thankful for my foresight. The warmth of my cozy room, coupled with books in hand, felt like a small gift that made this winter day perfect.

Despite the freezing temperature, this morning was filled with beauty. Snow blanketed the rooftops and frosty patterns adorned the windowpanes, looking like nature's artwork. I grabbed my camera to capture the scene of pure white snow. The soft crunch of snow beneath my feet as I stepped outside and the chill of the wind brushing against my face were unmistakable reminders of winter in Berlin.

This wasn't just another cold day; it was a morning to embrace the season. Though I've experienced snowy winters before, the beauty and calmness of fresh snow never fail to leave a lasting impression. Winter in Berlin may be bitterly cold for some, but it’s also a time when nature showcases its creativity, inviting us to pause and admire its unique charm.

This snowy morning marks the beginning of the winter season in 2023. November 28 will remain a cherished memory as a day when winter enveloped Berlin in its silent and majestic embrace. 

Heute Morgen, als ich das Fenster öffnete, sah ich als erstes eine atemberaubende weiße Schneelandschaft, die alles bedeckte. Der leichte Schneefall von vor zwei Tagen hatte sich in eine dicke weiße Decke verwandelt, die den Boden bedeckte. Die Stille dieses Morgens, bei einer Temperatur von -2°C, verstärkte die friedliche Schönheit Berlins und ließ die Stadt wie eine Szene aus einer Winterpostkarte erscheinen.

Dies war der erste signifikante Schneefall des Jahres in Berlin. Vor zwei Tagen hatte der Schnee nur leicht die Dächer und Bäume bedeckt, doch heute verwandelte er die Stadt in eine kalte, faszinierende Winterwelt. Straßen, Gehwege und Dächer waren mit weichen Schneeschichten bedeckt, während die Baumwipfel entlang der Wege wie mit glitzerndem Frost bestreut wirkten.

Gestern Abend war Loy Krathong, ein Fest, das unter Thais sehr bekannt ist. Doch das kalte Wetter in Berlin, begleitet von fallendem Schnee, war ein starker Kontrast zu den vertrauten Bildern von schwimmenden Laternen auf Flüssen in Thailand. Das Wasser in deutschen Kanälen muss jetzt eisig kalt sein, vielleicht sogar teilweise zugefroren. Der Schnee, der über Nacht gefallen ist, bedeckte jede Oberfläche und malte die Stadt in die stille Ruhe des Winters.

Zum Glück hatte ich gestern bereits Bücher aus der Bibliothek ausgeliehen, sodass ich nicht durch die Kälte und den Schnee laufen musste. Der Gedanke, durch frostigen Wind und tiefen Schnee zur Bibliothek zu gehen, ließ mich dankbar für meine Voraussicht sein. Die Wärme meines gemütlichen Zimmers und die Bücher in meinen Händen fühlten sich wie ein kleines Geschenk an, das diesen Wintertag perfekt machte.

Trotz der eisigen Temperaturen war dieser Morgen voller Schönheit. Schnee bedeckte die Dächer, und frostige Muster schmückten die Fensterscheiben wie Naturkunstwerke. Ich griff nach meiner Kamera, um die reine weiße Schneelandschaft festzuhalten. Das weiche Knirschen des Schnees unter meinen Füßen, als ich nach draußen trat, und die Kälte des Windes, der mein Gesicht streifte, waren unverkennbare Erinnerungen an den Winter in Berlin.

Dies war nicht nur ein weiterer kalter Tag, sondern ein Morgen, um die Jahreszeit willkommen zu heißen. Obwohl ich schon oft schneereiche Winter erlebt habe, hinterlässt die Schönheit und Ruhe des frischen Schnees immer einen bleibenden Eindruck. Der Winter in Berlin mag für manche bitterkalt sein, aber er ist auch eine Zeit, in der die Natur ihre Kreativität zeigt und uns einlädt, innezuhalten und ihren einzigartigen Charme zu bewundern.

Dieser verschneite Morgen markiert den Beginn der Wintersaison 2023. Der 28. November wird eine wertvolle Erinnerung bleiben, ein Tag, an dem der Winter Berlin in seine stille und majestätische Umarmung hüllte.

今朝、窓を開けたとき、最初に目に入ったのは、すべてを覆う真っ白な雪景色でした。二日前の軽い降雪が、地面を覆う厚い白いブランケットに成長していました。気温が**-2℃**のこの朝の静けさは、ベルリンの美しさをさらに引き立て、冬の絵葉書のような光景を作り出していました。

今年初めての本格的な降雪でした。二日前は、雪が屋根や木々をうっすらと覆っただけでしたが、今朝は冷たく魅力的な白い世界に街が変わりました。歩道、道路、屋根は柔らかい雪で覆われ、道の両側に並ぶ木々のてっぺんは、キラキラと輝く霜で飾られているようでした。

昨夜はタイ人に馴染みのあるロイクラトンの日でした。しかし、雪が降り、ベルリンの寒い天気は、タイでの川に浮かぶ灯籠の慣れ親しんだイメージとは大きく異なっていました。ドイツの運河の水は今や凍えるように冷たく、部分的に凍っているかもしれません。一晩中降った雪は、すべての表面を覆い、街を冬の静寂に染め上げました。

幸いなことに、昨日図書館から本を借りておいたので、この冷たい雪の朝に出かける必要はありませんでした。寒風と深い雪をかき分けて図書館に行くことを想像すると、先見の明があった自分に感謝せざるを得ませんでした。暖かく快適な部屋と手元にある本は、この冬の日を完璧にする小さな贈り物のように感じました。

氷点下の気温にもかかわらず、今朝は美しさに満ちていました。雪が屋根を覆い、窓ガラスに氷の模様が描かれ、自然の芸術作品のようでした。私はカメラを手に取り、純白の雪景色を記録しました。外に一歩踏み出すと、雪の柔らかな音と顔をかすめる冷たい風が、ベルリンの冬を感じさせました。

これは単なる寒い日ではなく、冬の到来を歓迎する朝でした。何度も雪の多い冬を経験しましたが、新雪の美しさと静けさはいつも心に残る印象を与えます。ベルリンの冬は一部の人にとって厳しい寒さかもしれませんが、自然がその創造性を発揮し、私たちにその独特の魅力を楽しむよう誘っている時間でもあります。

この雪の朝は、2023年の冬の季節の始まりを告げるものでした。11月28日は、ベルリンが静かで荘厳な冬の抱擁に包まれた日として、私の記憶に残るでしょう。

Speech by Chancellor Scholz at the 25th anniversary of the ECB on 25 May 2023 in Frankfurt am Main   Mittwoch, 24. Mai 2023 in Frankfurt am Main   Madam President, chère Christine, Excellencies, Presidents, Colleagues, Staff Members of the ECB, Friends, Ladies and gentlemen, shortly after I had been sworn in as Minister of Finance, I visited the ECB tower for the first time. I felt that it was important to come here to Frankfurt right at the beginning of my then term. Because the ECB is at the heart of our common currency. Because the euro has made Europe a tangible part of our everyday lives. And because Europe’s large single market is complemented by one of the largest currencies in the world, making us stronger globally. And the euro area keeps growing: I am pleased that Croatia joined our currency union at the beginning of this year, becoming the 20th member of our euro family. Others share this aspiration and I am confident that more countries will follow in the future. After all, the euro has turned out to be one of the most successful EU integration projects. That slightly laconic statement hides a tremendous amount of hard work. Work done here, at the ECB, but also in Brussels, and in all of our Member States. Time and again, our common currency has been put to the test – and sometimes along with the commitment and determination of the euro area itself. The financial crisis and the sovereign debt crisis, the COVID pandemic, the economic consequences of Russia’s war against Ukraine – there was no ready-made recipe for responding to any of these. That is what makes it all the more remarkable that we can state one thing very clearly today: The euro area is able to defend its currency against all challenges. The euro is irreversible. The ECB has played an unparalleled role in this. Thank you for protecting our currency, dear Jean-Claude Trichet, dear Mario Draghi, dear Christine Lagarde. And our gratitude includes Wim Duisenberg, who left us far too early. You guided and shaped monetary policy through these last 25 years. And when it mattered, your actions and words made a difference. When many feared and some betted that the euro area would break apart, the ECB stood true to its mandate. And it took you, Mario, only a few decisive words to calm down the markets: “Whatever it takes.“ I believe that with these words you not only calmed down markets, I am convinced they will enter the history books. And during the COVID pandemic, you Christine, stated that “extraordinary times require extraordinary action.” Clearly, the basis and remit for this is defined by the ECB’s competence and mandate. At these decisive moments, your leadership gave the world confidence in our common currency. In 1998, the ECB was founded as a strong and independent central bank with a clear mandate – maintaining price stability in the euro area. After the first 25 years, we can say that our common currency is indeed attractive, safe and stable. When it became necessary to establish common banking supervision for large financial institutions, the ECB also stepped in: by serving as the home for a new Single Supervisory Mechanism and setting it up in record time. It is safe to say: The ECB has been an anchor for stability in the euro area. Or, as you phrased it in the video: “stability is your thing.” That comes as a reassurance for our citizens, also in the current economic environment. Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine is first and foremost a catastrophe for the brave Ukrainian people. But it also puts our countries to an unprecedented test. A test – I might add – that we have so far passed, because we have stood more united than ever. Last year, we have seen the highest inflation rates since the creation of the euro. The consequences are being felt by citizens all over Europe. Those with the lowest income and little savings are being hit the hardest. So, it is good to know that, while we are celebrating this special occasion here tonight, the ECB is actively fighting inflation. I fully support this effort – if I may say so with all due respect to the ECB’s independence. This independence is essential for a stable and credible monetary policy. After all, the value of a currency depends to a large extent on trust. Trust in the institutions that are responsible for this currency. Without trust, neither paper nor digital money has any meaningful value. However, stability and trust are by no means impediments to progress – on the contrary. The work on a digital euro is an ambitious and forward-looking project that will strengthen European sovereignty. To bring its full potential to bear, we should allow for its widest possible use by private and business customers. Strengthening the euro area also requires progress on important legislative projects. As Member States of the European Union, we must play our part. Completing the Capital Markets Union is essential to mobilising the funds we all need to tackle the biggest challenge ahead of us: the transition of our economies and societies towards climate neutrality. Moreover, as I have already outlined as Finance Minister, there is an obvious need to continue our work on the Banking Union. Here, we are aiming for targeted and effective improvements, while building on well-established solutions that are already in place in Member States. And, ladies and gentlemen, we are also doing our part when it comes to supporting the ECB’s work to implement its core mandate. As much as all EU member states were right in conducting expansive fiscal policy during the pandemic – just remember our ground-breaking agreement on Next Generation EU – our fiscal policies will now have to adjust again and keep an eye on limiting inflationary pressure. That’s how we must join forces with the ECB in the fight against inflation. Last, but not least, ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to be the ECB’s home country. 5000 employees from all over Europe work for the ECB and the European Banking Supervision. By the way, this includes a growing number of women. And I can only make an educated guess that this also has to do with your work, Christine, and your role as a trailblazer for equality. Since you became President in 2019, you have not only broken through glass ceilings. You have also opened the ECB’s glass doors towards the urban society of Frankfurt – quite literally, on Night of the Museums this year. The ECB is also strengthening Frankfurt’s role as a leading financial centre in Europe. And I may say, there are new chances to continue this. Following Brexit, Frankfurt has recorded by far the largest number of new license applications for banks and other financial services firms. So, it is fair to say that your presence, the presence of the ECB in Frankfurt, is shaping the city, just like the euro is shaping the European Union for the better. And as I said, there might be new institutions. With an eye to the future, I hope the ECB will continue to be the haven of stability, the beacon of independence and trust, and the trailblazer for progress that we have come to know. Thanks for your hard work and your commitment over the past 25 years! ผมไปรับงานเกี่ยวกับข้อบังกำหนดมาตรฐานแรงงานไทย จะต้องแปลเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้อง พอเสริชข้อมูลปรากฎว่ามีเอกสารที่กรมสวัสดิการคุ้มครองแรงงานแปลไว้ 4 ภาษา ได้แก่ ภาษาไทย ภาษาอังกฤษ ภาษาญี่ปุ่น และภาษาจีน ในส่วนนี้ผมทุ่นเวลาในการหาคำศัพท์เฉพาะของข้อกำหนดนี้ หลาย ๆ คำพออ่านแล้ว อาจมีคำถามว่าเลือกใช้คำที่เหมาะแล้วหรือไม่ ผมเองไม่คัดค้านเพราะเอกสารทั้งหมดเป็นงานของทางราชการที่ได้รับการดำเนินการและพิจารณาให้ออกเผยแพร่ ต้องผ่านคณะกรรมการหรือผู้เชี่ยวชาญเป็นสำคัญมาก่อนแล้วชั้นหนึ่ง จึงมั่นใจได้ว่าสามารถนำมาอ้างอิงได้
